Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore was a Hollywood writer and actor for several years. Her work is also highly praised by the critics. She's an Sagittarius born on December 3 1960 in North Carolina. She's the oldest of three children, and was the daughter of Peter Moore Smith who was an Army paratrooper. Her mother Anne works as a psychotherapist. Her parents are English, Scottish and of mixed descent. Moore was a struggle as her family was constantly relocated due to their dad's employment. Moore's career began in New York with Off-Broadway Theater after graduation. She made an appearance on screen as a character in The Edge of Night. She played the dual roles of Frannie as well as Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns. This was the show that became her break. It was on from 1988 to the present and was awarded an Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. In 1990 she debuted in cinema with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. She was in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both produced by Robert Altman. Moore received numerous nominations and acclaim for the initial film. Moore was first cast as the lead role in Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg gave Moore her debut lead role in the film Safe (1995). In 1997, the career of Moore reached a turning point. She was tapped to play the lead role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. This movie became one of the most popular films in 1997. In 1999, she was a part of the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and received a SAG nomination for her performance. The Hours, a 2002 film in which she co-starred with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep was nominated for nine Academy Awards. Moore is also featured in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop was her film of 2014. Moore has appeared in many television shows and movies. The most recent role she has played was in the film When You Finish Saving the World (2022). In Hollywood as well, she has made herself a writer for children. In 2007, she released Freckleface Strawberry, which became a New York Times bestseller. It became a top selling book, then adapted to a television series as well as musical. Her 2013 book, My Mom is a Foreigner, was also a bestseller. Moore's personal life has been made public as a highly popular author and actress. She was a bridesmaid to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. Bart Freundlich has given her two children. Moore later got married to him in 2003.
